Our mission
Vernon Basketball Academy is committed to inspiring and nurturing student-athletes to thrive in their learning, relationships, and community through the game of basketball. In alignment with SD22’s vision to empower student to dream, believe, and achieve, we integrate academic responsibility, character development and high-performance training into a comprehensive school-based athletic experience.
Target Grades
Open to student-athletes in grades 9-12 within SD22.
Eligibility
Boys and girls who demonstrate commitment to academic responsibility, attendance and positive character.
Schedule
Integrated within the school timetable with structured on-court training, strength & conditioning sessions, and scheduled film review to track progress.
Program Format
The academy combines skill development, team concepts, performance training and mental performance education.
Enrolment
Limited to approximately 25-30 athletes to ensure individualize attention and high standards of development
